A TRADITIONAL BUTCHER’S SHOP AND GRILL
The Butcher’s Tap And Grill is a welcoming neighbourhood pub where you can choose a cut of meat from the butcher’s counter and watch it be grilled by our butcher-chefs, or simply pop in for a pint and a burger, or a snack to watch a game on the TV. Our butcher’s counter offers 100% British meat and the team is on hand to offer you all the help and advice you need to prepare and cook your cuts at home.
Please note, we are walk-in only and do not take bookings.
We also welcome well behaved dogs.
Kids Eat Free (Monday-Thursday) 3pm-5pm
Young guests can enjoy a range of tasty dishes such as a Hot Dog Topped with Fried Onions, Tender Chicken nuggets, Mini Cheese-Burger (or plain) or chicken wings with BBQ sauce, or mini mac & cheese bites all served with a Pot of Fries and an optional side of Coleslaw. Plus, kids can pick a choice of fruit and a soft drink.

The Butcher’s Counter
The Butcher’s Counter is at the very heart of The Butcher’s Tap and Grill, stocked full of award-winning 100% British cuts including 28-day, dry aged, grass-fed beef from HG Walter, naturally-reared pork from Blythburgh pigs, and Suffolk Launceston lamb, all impeccably sourced with the highest welfare management.

Jamie May (previously Head Chef of The Hand and Flowers, Tom Kerridge’s two-Michelin starred pub in Marlow) BRINGS A DECADE OF EXPERIENCE TO THE BUTCHER’S TAP AND GRILL. JAMIE’S EXTENSIVE KNOWLEDGE OF CUTS AND COOKING METHODS AND THE FARM TO FORK PROCESS IS SECOND TO NONE.
JAMIE AND HIS TEAM OF BUTCHER-CHEFS ARE FOCUSING ON BRINGING BACK THAT COMMUNITY, LOCAL BUTCHER VIBE TO MARLOW WHERE GREAT FOOD AND HOSPITALITY SIT SIDE BY SIDE.

WE HAVE A CAREFULLY CURATED LIST OF WINES AVAILABLE BY THE GLASS, BOTTLE AND TO TAKEAWAY. WE OFFER BYO EVERY MONDAY WHEN DINING IN, WHERE YOU CAN ENJOY YOUR FAVOURITE BOTTLE FOR JUST £5 CORKAGE.
